Looking pulled together even when you're not has a certain mood lifting element.
So here was the look:
Tip! When being a refugee from your life keep it simple.
- I pulled on roomy, long yoga pants for a leg lengthening look.
- Then a cute GAP tee in a jeweled tone teal (color of this season!) ...but i put it on in-side out to let the seem show. It adds an extra refugee touch!
- And to complete the look, a pair of Rocket Dog clogs and a hobo bag; b/c let's face it, at the time I felt like one.
But what was IN the hobo bag??? All the goodies to make a girl feel super swell!
For the smell-back-to-myself beauty routine I had favorites...
- Body Wash & Moisturizer - Bath & Body Works Twilight Woods
- Make-up essentials - MAC stubborn brown eyeliner, Rimmel Sexy Curves mascara and Lancome Juicy Tubes. It's not like I'm going to jump out of this hot shower and not get dressed for the day!
For the look-hot-but-subtle fashion...
- A great fitting pair of bootcut jeans courtesy of White House|Black Market.
- Essential uplifting braziere
- Fun, graphic tee in another great jeweled tone plum. Except this time it's worn right-side out.
- Kashmere zip-front hoody in complementary neutral so not as to distract from my great plum tee.
- Pearl & crystal earrings & Clogs again
So now I smell great, my look has been pulled together and maybe I can finally eat something today. This all goes to show that just because you've been hugging the toilet doesn't mean your look has to show it.
