Movin' on up!

Moving, whether across town or across country can be exciting, stressful and in the summertime - sweaty. The worst part is having your wardrobe packed up for days maybe weeks before settling into your new closet with  limited access to do laundry.
I recently moved from the lovely South to the wholesome Midwest. To ease the transition I kept some great basic items in my luggage at all times so I could go from moving boxes to dining at a new restaurant without fretting over what to wear.
Here's how...

Lifting, moving, and packing:
A great pair of cargo shorts. You need a place to pocket a screw driver, keys, lip gloss and there is a pocket for everything here.

Cargos can be a little baggy; offset the silhouette with a body hugging solid tank or tee shirt. It's summer and 95 degrees, no need to be complex. I like this one from Old Nave, satin trim tank for $14.50.

Skip the earrings and opt for a colorful patterned head wrap. This adds a nice touch to an otherwise simple outfit and also keeps you cool in the summer heat.
Happy nesting!
